| Welcome New & Returning Gator Families!!! | |
|
Sep 21, 2010 |
Welcome to all of the new swimmers and their families who are trying out the team this month! We hope that you will have a great experience with our Club!
And to all of our returning families, Welcome Back!! We are looking forward to a great season! Please greet our new families and their swimmers...we have a lot of new people to get to know!
New families, during your tryout period, you will be receiving all of the information that our current families receive. As announcements and invitations go out, please understand that you do not have to respond or make decisions until after your two-week trial period is complete. However, if you feel confident that your swimmer is going to decide to stay with the Gators, please feel free to move forward with the information if you wish.
Our short course season runs through March. This is the busiest time for our Club, as we host swim meets approximately once a month, we run the high school meets for Canby High School, we attend meets hosted by other clubs, and we also run our poinsettia fundraiser and swim a thon!
You will be receiving information on all of these events as they become available, and you can find information on all of it on the swim club website. Please don't be overwhelmed as you receive this information, and please feel free to ask any board member if you have questions. A list of the Board of Directors and links to their email is under the Visitors Tab on our website.
In addition, there will be a new parent meeting soon and you will have the opportunity to ask all of your questions there as well.
Again, a warm welcome to all of you! We look forward to having you and your swimmer become part of the Gator family!!
