GATORS SWIM TO BEST TIMES AT 10 & UNDER STATE MEET

The Ten and under State Long Course Championships were held in Albany on July 10^th and 11^th at South Albany High School.  Six Canby Swimmers qualified for the meet.  The Gators swimmers swam to 86% best times at the meet and three scored points individually.  Kaitlyn Hester swam to five best times in six swims and placed in five events.  She was 16^th in the 200 free and 100 back, 14^th in the 50 back 11^th in the 100 free and 8^th in the 50 free.  Kylie Hester finished 10^th in the 50 back and dropped 4 ½ seconds.  Alisha Issa finished with four best times in four events. She placed 13^th in the 50 free and 50 fly and 10^th in the 100 free.  Erin Meredith shaved 1 ½ seconds off her 50 back and finished in 18^th place.  Amanda Moses finished 21^st in the 50 and 100 free, while dropping a second in the 50 free.  Kaitlyn Hester, Alisha Issa, Amanda Moses and Sierra Erwert teamed up on two relays.   The 200 Medley relay finished 16^th with a time of 3:13.72 and the 200 free relay finished 8^th in a time of 2:38.34.
