IM Extreme Games

Two Canby Gators swam at the IM Xtreme Games at Mt. Hood Community College on December 11-13. The Meet is designed to encourage swimmers to swim some of the longer events and includes100's & 200's of fly, back and breast and long IM and freestyle events, event length depending on age. Noah and Veronica Norris both swam at the meet and swam very well. Noah swam to first place in all five of his events the 200 IM, 500 free, 100 breast, 100 back and 100 fly, earning first place overall for 11 year-old boys. Noah also earned best times in four of his five events. Veronica finished in 8th place over all and swam to best times in all six of her events. She dropped 13.5 seconds in the 400 IM, 4.9 in the 500 free, 5.8 in the 200 breast, 3.3 in the 200 IM, 2.8 in the 200 back and she swam the 200 fly for the first time. It was a great meet for both swimmers.
